The young man hesitated, but did what he was told.
With the bag his master gave him, Puss put on his boots and went to the field.
"Your Highness," said the cat, "My master would like to present you with this fine present of a bag healthy adorable rabbits. Please accept them," Puss continued.
The King thought the cat was extraordinary, thus he accepted the present and asked, "Tell me young man, who is your master anyway?"
"Your Majesty, my master is the Marquis of Carrabas whose castle isn't too far from here," Puss answered before he left.
A few days later, Puss told the young man to go swimming in a nearby lake and pretended that he was the Marquis of Carrabas.
As the King's carriage was passing by, Puss ran up to it and told the King that his master's clothes was stolen.
In no time, the King sent him a nice suit, introduced him to his daughter and then invited him to join them for a ride.
Meanwhile, Puss went ahead down the road and saw a large castle. He walked in and met the monster that owned it.
When the Royal family and his master arrived, Puss welcomed them as if it was his master's castle. The King was very impressed and so was the Princess.
